Seminar Objectives:

A primary purpose of EIA Project is developing national capacity to make wise decisions regarding the anticipation, management and planning of environmental change. Considering ecological and human consequences is essential to enhance the quality of life for all. EIA Project is leading best practice in EIA, management and policy.

The main objective of Seminar:

• To be a forum for advancing innovation, development and communication of best practice in EIA.
• To promote the development of local capacity for the application of EIA in Which sound science and full public participation provide a foundation for equitable and sustainable development.
• Opportunities to assist in global and regional capacity building.
• Opportunities to represent local at international for a
• Providing the most up – to – date information and using experiences of other countries and International organizations.
• Introducing EIA in Iran and exchange of experiences of EIA practitioners.
• Strengthening supportive institutions.
• Informing the local public about the range of impacts on the environment.
